An interesting project where the client wanted a 'modern barn' looking structure that was both tall and long. Situated on a fairly steep hill, we took advantage of the natural topography to maximize the structure's interior space as well as its energy efficiency. Indirect daylighting throughout the house virtually elimnates the need for artifical lighting during the day. This home is slated to achieve LEED Gold certfifcaion at the time of its completion.
